Q. Do you sell to the public?
A. YES
Q. Do you operate a shop, where I can simply drop in?
A. YES, drop in at any time we are open - check our open hours.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. American Express Card,
BankCard,
MasterCard,
Visa, Transfer (Electronic funds transfer from your account to ours, typically using internet banking / EFT)
Business Cheques (see below)

Cash (only over the counter - not by post/phone/fax)
Q. Do you accept Government & School purchase orders?
A. We require a faxed or original purchase order. (Although you can still order over the web). We may also need to validate the authenticity of the document.
Q. Can we open an credit account with you?
A. In general PCX does offer trading terms, however we would like to know that not only is the applicant credit worthy but also that the level of business warrants the trouble of opening and maintaining the account. You can download our Credit Application, fill it out and fax it to our Sydney office. (please allow 10 working days for processing your application)
Q. Do you take cheques as payment?
A. In general PCX at its discretion will often take cheques from Businesses who provide a cheque that includes the business's abn number. PCX may, at it's entire discretion choose to have the cheque clear prior to shipping goods.
Q. How long will it take to process my order?
A. The overall process from placing an order (for example placing an on-line order at www.pcx.com.au) is dependent upon the receipt of payment by PCX, the availability of the goods and finally the shipping time to your destination. These issues are discussed in the following FAQs.
Q. How long will it take to process payment?
A. This depends on several issues, the first is the method of payment.
Credit card: Can process this immediately so that this will not delay order processing.
Electronic Funds Transfer: The funds do not appear in PCX's account until the next business day, so that the order may be processed then.
Money order: Payment has to be received by post. Money orders once received will be processed the same day.
Payment by cheque: If the cheque drawer is business and the cheque includes an abn, then usually the order will be processed the day the cheque is received. HOWEVER it is at PCXs sole discretion to delay shipping of the goods until the cheque has been cleared by PCX's bank.
Credit Account Holders: Given that the account is in order, orders are processed the same day.
Q. How long will it take to deliver my order?
A. Firstly you must understand that the shipping process is subject to lots of variables, such that there are occasions where it can take longer times than we estimate here. We do not guarantee shipping times, only provide guides
Shipping times will depend on your choice of shipping method and location.
Q. Are there any issues if I elect to pick up my order from your office?
A. We do not necessarily stock all items in each of our locations. Our primary stock location is our warehouse in Sydney.
Brisbane and Melbourne pickup- We hold many items here and so in most cases it will be available within a few hours of your payment being processed.
Please check our operating hours in each of our offices.
Please confirm that your order is available for pickup prior to arriving at our outlets.
It is also important to note that we will require ID and docket signature upon pickup for us to release your goods.
Q. What if the discs I purchased don't work?
A. The nature of how DVDs and CDs work in Recorders and Burners is quite complex. The compatibility of the media, the drive, the drives firmware (program), the computer's hardware, the operating system (eg Windows) the Drivers in the computer (ATAPI layer) the burning software all have to be compatible with each other and the media... Some combinations can mean that simply the discs don't work in some environments. Rather than trying to find out why is is much easier to simply try a different disc. PCX will refund or credit any unburned (and in the case of discs provided in packaging like Jewel cases) unopened packs. This offer does not include the cost of shipping the original discs to you and the return postage. The offer may also not be extended to some special offers, where we make it clear that there are no returns/warranty.
It is important to contact us prior to shipping us any returned goods.
