Background:
This article summarises how you can create a small number of personalised desktop calendars. These are readily made in quantities of 1 to 100 and can be more or less customised depending on your needs (and your available time and money).

Small desktop calendars are likely to be used and they offer an ideal, low cost way of keeping you, your family, or your customers aware of you for a full year. As they are customisable, they offer a clear message to the recipient that they are important. In essence these desktop calendars provide an almost universal present for a personal / family or business gift.

What is a Calendar Case?
Small clear plastic cases (often called jewel cases as they are often used for presentation of jewelry) that can be opened and folded back to create a self supporting presentation of a calendar or similar presentation (see pictures 1 and 2 on the right)

When these cases are used for calendars, a series of 12 printed paper pages are inserted, each with a month's calendar. Alternatively you can add one or more additional pages for promotional and presentation purposes. You will also note there are 5 different sizes of calendar cases available.

Creating a calendar

Creating a calendar is simply a matter of having a month's calendar, with a suitable picture and possibly a promotional message. Print 12 cut them to size and insert the 12 pages into the calendar case!!

It is important to allow at least 1mm clearance between the inside of the case and the inserts. This allows for some tolerance when cutting them and also additional ease for the user to change months.
