A new environmentally aware blister design finally takes shape
Jet Tec has taken the decision to improve its packaging, production
techniques and production materials to ensure that a minimum of 50% reprocessed
or recycled materials are used. All components that cannot be produced
from recycled material will be fully recyclable after use.
New improved blister pack - reduced in size to decrease waste
Jet Tec are fully committed to reducing landfill with an overall objective
of 0% landfill. The new blister pack, which has been significantly
reduced in size when compared to previous packaging will replace the current
carton packaging.
Made from recyclable materials
Jet Tec are closing the loop on waste by using recycled materials and ensuring their products can be recycled after use.
PCX also have a Planet Ark ink cartridge recycling box at our Sydney store - help reduce the 5000 tonnes of cartridges that go to landfill each year.
Environmental benefits of Extralife cartridges
Extralife simply means that the cartridges contains more ink than normal cartridges - lasting longer and reducing cartidge waste.
Where Certain cartridges benefit from 100% Extralife the affects on landfill are
reduced by half!
International Standard EN ISO 14001:2004
This environmental certification further outlines Jet Tec's environmental achievements
and awareness of issues that need to be considered when manufacturing Jet
Tec products.
Contain the same amount of ink as the originals (or more see ExtraLife)
Some other compatibles don't contain the same volume of ink, and/or do not print as many pages as the original. On the surface these cartridges appear cheap, but in reality end up costing more because you need to replace them more often.. Jet Tec are matched to the originals and in some models carry more ink.
