Guide to Short-Run Promotional Printing

PCX has recently introduced a new range of services that are designed for promotional work.
This involves many products including pre-printed calendar cases, custom USB drives, pre-printed discs and other unique customer requests.
The benefits of purchasing these products is that they are unique, available in short-runs and with a fast turn-around time.

This document outlines some of the benefits related to our promotional service items.

Calendar cases

Calendar cases are a great item to use as a promotional resource. They remain on the desk, in front of your customer all year round, continually promoting your business. Not only that, but it's a positive and relaxed way to get your message across. There are two main ways that people use calendars for this purpose:

• print individual monthly inserts with your logo on them, or
• print your logo and message directly onto the case, so its a focal point of every months display.

PCX focuses on the later of these options as its a unique way to get your message presented and shows that you have gone to an extra effort to get the cases printed. The calendar case printing is done with our new industrial PrintMaster printer, which produces excellent results.
After you have designed your logo and message that you want printed on to the cases, then you can choose from our themed calendar inserts which are professionally designed. These monthly inserts currently come in two themes: water and nature, both of which contain relaxed and beautiful images.

Thermal printed discs

If you are a customer that requires the best quality discs available, then this option of disc printing is for you. PCX offers a PrintMaster disc printing service that creates great waterproof and glossy discs that are scratch resistant. These discs are most similar to Hollywood produced DVD's and CD's which stand out compared to other duplicated discs.
For a promotional item, these discs can act as a medium to professionally portray or illustrate your company. Many clients use them as informational give-away's, software demonstrations or advertising material. To proceed with this option, you design your artwork to specification, fill out the order form (online or by fax) and then we will complete your job. Duplication of these discs is also available at minimal extra costs.

Pre-printed USB Drives

This service provides a pre-printed USB drive which you can use to move data, showreels, information sessions or movies around between client and customer. This item is ideal for delivery of your promotional message because of its large amost white surface for printing. Unlike most USB printing we offer full colour, not just spot colour, and as we are using an inkjet method, you have no issues of colour registration or grainy gradients like you do with pad and screen printing. The USB drive is classy appearance with no cap to loose because it swivels to connect to your computer We print your artwork onto one side in full colour.
To order these items, you create your artwork to specification then place the order and wait for your new USB's. Turn around time is quick, usually 1 -2 days for printing plus shipping times.

Aluminium Business Cards

PCX has recently introduced aluminium business cards which make you stand out from the crowd. This unique item looks great with full colour designs and text about your business. These cards are slim and similar to cardboard business cards that fit in your wallet, excpt with a silver appearance. They are individual in their ability to portray a bright colour scheme.

Printed Packaging

With our new PrintMaster, we are able to print on a wide array of packaging items. Most items that have hard plastic, non-porous material can be printed by this method, however, prices will vary.
The most common and exceptional item we print onto is our Tin CD and DVD case range. This range has a perfect material to print upon and the colours turn out bright and clear. Some artworks turn out exceptionally well when they are designed to perpetuate the natural silver sheen of the case (e.g. compatible colours).
