This is great family / friends fun - now you can all see your photos together on your TV!
PCX transfers your photos, 35mm negative film strips (or mounted slides) to DVD or if you already have image files on CD we can take those to make your DVD picture show.
Now you can have a slide show anytime you want to use your DVD player!
This is how easy and convenient it can be! - Simply play a DVD! Select the slide show you want (by selecting the Title on the DVD) then click Play...
Want to zoom in, pause or repeat.. All this is part of your DVD player!

If you provide the images on CD-R, then it is helpful if you arrange the folder names to be the Show Titles (maximum of 99 images per title).
If you have photos, negatives, and slides we can scan these and then make them into a Picture Show.
Where you have requested a Picture Show on DVD, we also include the original images on the disc as well.
Where we do the scanning, we will also crop the images to have the best effect when viewed on a normal TV screen (4:3).
Normal scanning costs apply, however we do the cropping as part of the Picture Show assembly.

Picture Show Frequently Asked Questions
How many photos can you get onto a DVD?
Practically 99 shows, each with 99 pictures. This is generally not
a good idea as it makes it quite difficult to find any particular picture.
What about background music?
The way that the internals of the Picture Show works is that there are 5 second sections of video for each picture. If you were to pause or press next to go to the next picture, then the sound would accorningly jump. We do not include background music.
Do you do VCDs and CD-ROM versions?
Yes - We produce a VCD / SVCD structure on a CD-R. This means that the
result is encoded as an MPEG file that can be read on PCs CD-ROM drives
and on some DVD players. Note we suggest that if you have a DVD player
you are better off having a DVD rather than a VCD.
Do you have VHS tape versions?
Yes, we can create a video tape version of a picture show, here we
have each picture show for 15 seconds (as opposed to 5 seconds for DVD).
The notion of multiple shows on a single tape does not apply to this kind
of presentation. Normal VHS copy charges apply if you want to have a DVD/CD plus a VHS version.
Do you accept individual photographs, or un mounted negatives
(or positive film)?

What if I want to mail in my materials?
This is fine, simply download our Order Form (requires
PDF reader), print it out, complete it and send it with your materials.
It is important that you choose a shipping method that requires signature. we would suggest the likes of Registered Post. (don't forget to include a telephone number and/or email address)
Will you copy hollywood movies?
NO - If you are asking us to copy any potentially copyright materials,
you will also need to complete the Order Form
